Catherine, the creator of SkinnyPants™, loves to work-out, practice yoga, go out with friends after the gym, travel light, look skinny, hates dry-cleaning bills and ironing, hates having 25 pairs of black pants none of which are flattering and most of which are too short for her, has that urban legend in the back of her closet, her "skinny pants," that are so tight she recites a mantra before trying them on, is practical and likes pants that are versatile and comfortable, was sick of wearing schlumpo pants to the gym, sick of too-tight waistbands and dumb, unthoughtful designs that didn't do a thing for her body, so she thought, "Someone should come up with a great pant that makes you look skinny and that shapes and lifts, that you can wear to the gym or to a party, and that comes in a ton of sizes and inseam lengths." Catherine looked around the room and, on top of being sick of practicing law, was the only one there, so she decided to give it a try. She scouted around for basic black stretch pants but could never find one that was shaping, fit perfectly or that was really versatile. They were tight, but never in the right places and after a few wearings would sag dreadfully; most didn't come in enough inseam lengths so she always looked like she was ready for a flood and none of them were nice enough to wear out. She wanted something to slim and accentuate her body, not just squish it and make her miserable, so she started a company called HotFit™ and began work on a high-tech work-out/evening-out pant that is super-slimming, shaping and gorgeous. |
After a year and a half of developing and testing fabrics and designs, HotFit™ produced SkinnyPants™, the only pant that is truly slimming, shaping, lifting, comfortable, practical and great-looking.
